So, in order to solve my own ‘problem’, I create @logostorm, where I combined the feed of these logo design galleries in just one twitter stream. Perhaps I should call it the one feed to bring them all. Logos, not rings, of course. 🙂
Minnesota based graphic designer Nicole Meyer started a 27 years project, creating one logo a day for each one of the 10,000 local lakes. Excerpt from Branding 10000 Lakes: Lake logos have a tendency to be, well, fairly ugly. This project was created to rethink what they could be. [more] Via @nicole_meyer.
One thing I would never expect to see is Microsoft loosing their multi-coloured logo for a more minimalistic and iconic design, but by all means don’t get me wrong, if this Windows 8 new logo design turn out to be the real thing I’ll take my hat off to Microsoft. Regarding branding, it’s certainly the right move.

I’ve stumbled on this image created by Guillaume Baret that show how some of the most famous logos we know have came to be just by combined other logos. The image includes logos of Google Chrome, Twitter and Wikipedia among others. Obviously that’s not true, but still a funny thing to think about. Via @MarkTallant.
The Rio 2016 Olympic Games logo is a visual representation of the union between athletes and people from all around the world. The design is composed by three people connected by their hands and feet, the outline curves reminds the Sugar Bread Mountain, a famous tourist attraction in Rio.
Beiramar is a well know real estate company in Brazil with properties properties all over the country. A new identity has been designed by Bertoni Design.
I find myself constantly visiting logo design galleries for inspiration, so I decided to put this article up to help myself. I’m not listing all the logo galleries of the web, but only the ones I find to have the best type of work.
