The truth about small business branding is a pretty informative infographic created by CreativePool and Printed based on a survey with almost 1,000 creative professional, freelance designers and printers about the truth of branding for small business and startups.
The piece of information which I find to be more relevant, and does make a lot of sense in the hard economy times we’re living in, is that most of the small business brief their creatives to work their brands around the “good value” concept. It truly show that small business are in tune with reality, and offering good value is pretty much compulsory nowadays.
However I wonder, how many of these brands are really about good value other than anything else? The economy will eventually get back in shape, are they still continue to build their brand around the good value concept? Maybe it’s just me, but I feel that “good value” is a pretty ephemeral value to build a brand, unless we’re talking about Poundland of course.
Either way, pretty much interesting information here.
