This colorful identity design project was designed by Romulo Castilho and comissioned by the São Paulo Tourism Agency to introduce a new identity for one of the largest and most populated cities in the world and help propel the city forward with a unified message as it enters a busy decade with the World Cup and the Summer Olympic Games.
Here’s what Castilho had to said about the project:
In a greater challenge, the diversity in Sao Paulo had to be translated into a strong design. A visual identity system that took into account every possible interaction and application of the brand. The main objective was to promote Sao Paulo as a unique destination full of opportunities, services, and culture. A proposal to enhance its identity, adding confidence and credibility to all its messages. A reflection on a brand’s possibilities.
