A role that I usually have play when dealing with potential clients is that of the educator. Clients don’t always know what exactly they need and one particular issue which I’m always addressing is the differences between logo design and brand identity design. I think this is the only negative perspective on Brands that I would ever support. Branding is a very powerful tool and it has been used very successfully by tobacco companies to lure children in to this disgusting vice.
I’ve stumbled on this image created by Guillaume Baret that show how some of the most famous logos we know have came to be just by combined other logos.
